Our Odisha Trip Continues..
Day 3 Begins
We checked out and started to Bhubaneswar on this day. On our way, we covered some more places in Puri.
We first went to Gundicha Mandir. During Jagannath Yatra, Lord Jagannath will stay here.
So we visited this temple, then went to Puri Beach and finally started to Bhubaneswar.
On our way, we had our breakfast and then we went to SakhiGopal Temple. Our first stop in Bhubaneswar is Dhauli Giri. It's also known as "Peace Pagoda." This is where the famous Kalinga war took place.
One can witness Buddha idols in different forms here. From the hilltop, we can have a delightful view of the city. We spent around 1 hour here.
We then started to Udaygiri Caves. We climbed up, had some spectacular views, took some pics and came down. We started back as we were tired.
So we covered only Udaygiri caves but not Khandagiri caves.
We started to our hotel but before that, we had our food. Once after we checked in, we just slept for some time.
Around, 6.30 to 7, we went to Iskcon temple. All though we were tired, there is no way I would miss visiting this temple.
Glad we went, it was a different environment. I felt so good to be there and witness the worship by many devotees who were singing, dancing and offering their prayers.
It was a whole different vibe full of positive energy. From kids to youngsters to Older people, everyone took part and enjoyed worshiping the Lord.
We then started to our hotel, had our food and slept peacefully.
Day 3 ends here.
Day 4 Begins
This is our last day here. So we started a bit early and went to Lingaraj temple, which is very famous and covered a few more temples over there.
This area is a kind of temple zone. You will find a lot of temples on every street.
In fact, Bhubaneswar is known for its Temples and hence called as the TEMPLE CITY.
After visiting the temples, we started to Nandankanan Zoo. Although I visited many zoos, I still keep visiting them wherever I go.
This zoo has a fountain at the entrance and different kinds of animals were there. We had taken a safari visit to see the wild animals inside.
Since I like animals and I get to see them here, I visit zoos. But I feel very sad for them.
THEY BELONG TO JUNGLE. They shouldn't be there in zoos.
We should set them free.
So after spending some time there, we started back to our hotel, vacated the place and left for Bhubaneswar station.
On our way, we saw schools and I felt that this city looked more or less like Visakhapatnam with good roads and painted walls.
Finally, we reached the station and took our food there and got into our train.
Day 4 ends here by saying Adieu to Bhubaneswar.

This trip, although not a pre-planned one, yet it remained to be one of my favorite trips. We came from Hyderabad to visit our home.
Since there were some more days to start back to Hyderabad, we thought of visiting this place.
To our surprise, my dad too agreed and we made a last-minute plan, luckily tickets were even available, so we book our tickets and started happily.
I feel this trip was truly blessed by God, as even at the last moment, we were arranged everything tickets, approval, rooms. All thanks to God.
Don't miss out on watching these places at these times:
Puri Jagannath Temple at Night.
Iskcon Bhubaneswar Bhajan/ Prayers at Evening
Chilika Lake (visit before it gets dark).
I hope you enjoyed reading this article and found it helpful!!
