Exam Details
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released an official notification inviting online applications for the posts of Upper Division Clerk, Multi Tasking Staff & Stenographer.
A total of 3882 vacancies have been released for the posts of Upper Division Clerk, Multitasking staff and stenographer posts under ESIC Recruitment 2022. The interested candidates may go through the overview of the ESIC Recruitment 2022.
Candidates can apply online upto 15th February, 2022 and no other mode of application will be
accepted.
IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE NOTED BY CANDIDATES BEFORE APPLYING ONLINE:
(i) Before applying online, candidates should scan their:
- photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
- signature (with black ink)
- left thumb impression (on white paper with black or blue ink)
- a hand written declaration (on a white paper with black ink) (text given below)
ensuring that the all these scanned documents adhere to the required
specifications as given in this Advertisement.
(ii) Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
(iii) The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged.
The last date to apply online for ESIC Recruitment 2022 is 15th February 2022.

Exam Summary
The ESIC Exam Pattern for Phase-I & Phase-II Examination for Upper Division Clerk & Multi Tasking Staff (UDS & MTS) is the same. There will be no skill test in the Multi-Tasking Staff recruitment process.
The Preliminary Exam is of qualifying nature.
The marks scored in Mains Exam will be the deciding factor for final selection.
There will be a negative marking of one-fourth mark for each incorrect answer.
There will be Multiple Choice Questions in both Phase-I & Phase-II
The ESIC Stenographer Exam Pattern includes two stages- Objective type online test & Skill Test.
Educational Qualification
For UDC:
A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and data bases.
For MTS:
Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized board.
For Stenographer:
12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Skill Test-
Dictation: 10 Minutes @ 80 words per minute.
Transcription: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) Only on the computer.

Age Limit
For UDC & Steno: Between 18 to 27 years.
For MTS: Between 18 to 25 years.
Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC and ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years plus for PWD. For more details Kindly check the Official Notification.
Application Fee
Rs. 250/- for SC / ST / PWD / Departmental, Female and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
Rs. 500/- for all other categories.
The fee payment should be made through online mode.

How to Apply for the Exam?
Go to ESIC Official Website, www,esic.nic.in.
On the homepage, Click on the scrolling link ‘Click here to apply for Stenographer, Upper Division Clerk’.
Click on ‘click here for new registration’.
You will be redirected to the registration page, now you have to fill in the required details there such as Name, Contact details, etc.
To validate your registration process an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile no., you just have to fill that OTP on the ESIC portal.
After confirming the registration process, you will be able to fill the application form. Here you have to fill in the required details.
Complete your application process, and candidates have to pay their application fees.
Upload the documents as required in the application form in the prescribed size.
After completing the application process, candidates have to download the application form and also have to need to take a printout of the application form for the further examination process.
